How to Make Iced Tea

Ah Ohio summers. Like they say, it’s not the heat, but the humidity that makes us look for ways to stay cool inside and out.

How bad is it? So bad that my neighbors who had relatives visiting from Africa complained the humidity made Ohio too hot.

Yep. That. Hot.

That means it is iced tea weather!

This was Supposed to be a Post About Cedar Point but it's Not.

Growing up on Ohio's North Coast, every summer we went to America's number one rated roller coaster park, Cedar Point at least once. I love the park. I can navigate it with my eyes shut AND still tell you where every restroom and first aid station is in the park because I worked there too.

Needless to say, I love, love, love, love, LOVE roller coasters! I was stoked when Husband told me his company chose Cedar Point for their company picnic last weekend. I finally get to ride Gatekeeper! Yay!

I rode a bus all the way to Cedar Point and back and all I got was a pulled pork sandwich.

It was a good sandwich but it doesn't compare to everything we had planned for the day.

While we rode a bus to Cedar Point closed the park last Saturday.

24 Ways to Make Camping and Cooking Easy and Awesome

When we were barely married, Husband and I tested our marriage by borrowing a tent to road trip from Ohio to North Dakota for a family reunion. Some of my family felt sorry for us because we chose to camp.

What they didn’t realize, that while camping allowed us to make the trip after attending five weddings that year (and throw our own,) we used my childhood RV camping experience and Husband’s foodie skills to cook amazing meals and eat very, very well.

Here’s how.
