How to Make Eyeglass Cleaning Spray!

Ever since I first started wearing glasses as a kid, I cleaned them every morning by wetting the lenses and carefully cleaning them with a little bit of dish washing liquid on my fingers. I’d pat the lenses dry with a towel for a clean and clear view of the day before me. It wasn’t until I got a new optometrist as an adult that I was introduced to the magic of lens cleaning spray. Paired with the microfiber lens cleaning cloth that also came with my glasses, I can easily slip everything into my purse and clean my glasses on the go for streak free viewing morning, noon, and night. Mind. Blown. (It’s the simple things, I know.) My optometrist gives me free lens cleaning fluid refills but of course, I ran out and couldn’t make it down to his shop in time for an out of town trip. Turns out lens cleaning spray is very, very, very easy and inexpensive to make. In fact, you might already have everything you need to make cleaning fluid for glasses at home! 4 Back to School Sandwich Recipes

Back to School. Already? On the one hand, I’m not such a fan of Back to School season because it is a reminder that my favorite season is ending. On the other hand, I like Back to School season because it is lunch and sandwich recipe season. I can use all of the new and tasty lactose free lunch ideas I can get.

And if those healthy lactose free lunch ideas don’t cost an arm and leg to make, that’s OK too.

I got the opportunity to check out BJ’s Wholesale Club for healthy food shopping options for less at their Back to School Blogger event. It’s been forever since I’ve stepped foot into a wholesale club store. After Husband and I stopped performing at the renaissance festival, we cancelled our membership because we didn’t need to buy the restaurant size vats of condiments and such to feed our friends and fellow actors anymore. Learning to cook from scratch and the lack of ingredient type food for sale sealed the deal.

Many of you tell me you find fresh food and organic options for less at wholesale club stores. I figure this is the easiest way to check out if and how the offerings have changed since I last had a membership.

The prices are impressive.

So is the selection of healthy ingredient type food and a few surprises like being able to buy individual greeting cards instead of buying them by the metric ton. Most of the food items at BJ's Wholesale Club are several large sizes packaged together which works better for my small family than packaging our favorite nitrate free hot dogs by the case like the store I belonged to.

I didn't expect such a large amount of organic and natural ingredient type food. I am equally impressed they define what they mean by “natural” since natural is not a regulated term like organic. In this case, BJ’s Wholesale Club’s definition of Natural is in line with my own.

After the store tour, we have to try three back to school sandwich recipes for lunch.  Rule breaker that I am, I created my own sandwich recipe (#4) with their official okey dokey.

BJ’s Warehouse invited me to a blogger event and store tour. I am not required to write about it. I posted it because the sandwiches were yummy, I was impressed by their prices and offerings, and want to share because we all have to eat lunch.
